Apollo Taxi, a Passaic based business, has made arrangements to be available to the Passaic / Clifton Jewish community as a Shabbos / Yom Tov taxi service. It is beyond the scope of this website to delienate the Halachos involved in using a taxi service on Shabbos in situations that calling Hatzolah is not warranted. Apollo Taxi can be reached at 973-777-7787. The drivers are trained to open and close doors, and no payment is expected on Shabbos or Yom Tov. In order to keep this valuable service available, it is important that if you do use Apollo Taxi, payment is made as soon as possible.
